The Santa Fe Fuego (14-20) beat the White Sands Pupfish (18-19) 9-7 on Thursday at Fort Marcy Park behind Jimmy Maxwell, who collected four hits. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the third, fourth, and eighth innings.

Christian Ramirez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He singled in the first innings and homered in the fourth inning.

Even though Kevin Camacho allowed six runs over eight innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. Camacho struck out five, walked one and gave up 12 hits.

Justin Kuks (5-2) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked four and struck out seven.
