Eric Kozel went 2-3, sparking the Santa Fe Fuego (30-18) to a 5-3 victory in six innings over the Taos Blizzard (16-30) on Friday at Taos Tundra. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Cody Coffman had three extra-base hits for the Taos Blizzard. He doubled in the second and fourth innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Jeremiah Steinert recorded his seventh win of the year for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. Steinert struck out three, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Jordan Kraus (1-3) took the loss for the Taos Blizzard. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
